About the historical contract figures
The figures describe new contract value and counts reported for Ontario ministries in fiscal 2014/15–2016/17. They do not measure completed projects or current supplier standing, and the report does not identify the procurement program or ministry for each ITCAD contract.
The audit identifies limitations in the ministry-reported data, including errors in 2014/15 data that were not revisited. It identifies no ITCAD-specific error.
Three capabilities in practice
Working within structured procurement programs
Hiring managers initiate requisitions through FlexTrack, which distributes them to qualified vendors. Each request sets out role requirements, submission procedures, commercial parameters, documentation and response timelines.
We interpret those requirements, prepare candidate submissions and work within the program’s procedures. Hiring teams receive relevant candidates in the format their selection process requires.
Recruiting technical specialists
We look beyond a job title to understand the work and the experience a candidate needs. Our leadership’s technical background helps us interpret specialized requirements and recognize relevant experience.
Recruiting technology extends our market reach, while established candidate relationships and experienced recruiter judgement help us identify and assess candidates for the role. Our twelve areas of expertise describe the roles and skills we can recruit for.
Supporting contractor assignments
We act as the candidate liaison through interviews, coordinate offer communication and acceptance, and support engagement setup. The hiring organization directs the contractor’s work.
During the assignment, we administer contractor payments and other agreed responsibilities, stay in contact with the contractor, and coordinate renewal activity when the client requests an extension. That gives the contractor continuity of support from selection into the assignment.
